Dr Rakesh Mohankumar, MBBS, MRCS, FRCR, FRCPC Dr Rakesh Mohankumar is an Assistant Professor of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto and a Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Toronto Joint Department of Medical Imaging (Mount Sinai Hospital, University Health Network and Women’s College Hospital). He completed his residency in Radiology from the University of Manchester, UK followed by a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Toronto, before being appointed as staff radiologist, a position he has held since 2013. His main areas of research are bone and soft tissue sarcoma imaging, bone imaging of Gaucher disease, and advanced imaging in spondyloarthritis. He is the lead for Quality Control Initiatives within the musculoskeletal division including audit projects and peer review process.
