Dr Naomi Winn is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist working at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, UK. Her role involves all aspects of Musculoskeletal Radiology, both diagnostic and interventional. She is skilled in all imaging modalities, in particular, ultrasound, MRI and CT. She regularly performs image-guided procedures, such as bone and soft tissue biopsy and image-guided joint and tendon injections. Her research interests are in imaging bone and soft tissue tumours, spinal imaging and advanced ultrasound techniques. She has published research papers on ultrasound elastography in soft tissue tumours, ultrasound imaging in cadaveric intervertebral discs and cone beam CT to assess spinal stability. Her current research interest is assessing the utility of ultrasound- MRI fusion in guiding muscle injections. Dr Winn enjoys teaching and regularly contributes to the departmental teaching of fellows, radiographers, trainee doctors and allied health professionals.
