Dr. Michelle Ooi is a consultant musculoskeletal radiologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, specialising in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging and interventional procedures. Her academic journey began with an MBBS from St George’s Medical School, University of London, followed by foundation training in Brighton and Surrey, and radiology specialty training at North West School of Radiology in Manchester. This was further complemented by a post-CCT fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Dr. Ooi has authored several papers, and book chapters, and presented posters at various conferences. She is also deeply involved in education, serving as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds, lecturing at various radiology courses, and training registrars at the Leeds Radiology Academy. Outside of the medical field, Dr. Ooi enjoys exploring diverse cuisines and travelling.
