Dr Marwan Al-Dawoud is a Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician and musculoskeletal ultrasound specialist with extensive experience in diagnostic and interventional ultrasound. He works across the NHS, private practice and elite sport, with a particular interest in tendon pathology, image guided procedures and dynamic musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Marwan is a National Sport and Exercise Medicine Doctor at Cora Health, the UK’s largest independent MSK provider, and has held senior medical roles including Lead Doctor for England Rugby League, Head of Medical Services at Leeds Rhinos, Lead Doctor for England Partially Sighted Football, and Sports Medicine Specialist for Northern Ballet.

Alongside his clinical work, Marwan is actively involved in education, research and service development. He regularly teaches MSK ultrasound to healthcare professionals, presents nationally and internationally, and has published work in the field of Sport and Exercise Medicine. His teaching combines evidence based practice with practical, real world clinical experience.
