Key highlights
“Artificial intelligence is rapidly entering healthcare use. Learning about AI is not just about understanding machines—it’s about unlocking the future, shaping new possibilities, and empowering ourselves to how to safely use AI for the benefit of our patients” Prof Gerald Lip, Clinical Director, Breast Cancer and Artificial Intelligence Expert, NHS Grampian, North East of Scotland.
This one-day course emphasise the importance of a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to AI implementation, with discussions on trust, ethics, and responsible use in clinical environments.
Real-world case studies from teleradiology demonstrate how AI is already being applied across sites, offering valuable lessons for imaging departments navigating these technologies.
The course concludes with a forward-looking session on future AI applications within and beyond imaging, helping participants understand both the current landscape and what’s ahead.
Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how AI impacts their roles and how they can contribute to its safe and effective use in practice
