Course overview
This online, consultant led, lecture-based course will review common pathologies that are seen in regular MSK practice involving the small and large joints of the musculoskeletal system.
Specialities reviewed include pathologies encountered within trauma & orthopaedics, rheumatology and sports & exercise medicine.
On-demand access is available for 90 days to suit your time zone and schedule.
Key highlights
- Review of small and large joints in the upper limb focussing on the hand and wrist, elbow and shoulder joints
- Review of small and large joints in the lower limb including the foot and ankle, knee and hip joints
A focus on the use of multimodality imaging including x-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI will help delegates to appreciate some of the advantages and disadvantages of utilising different imaging modalities used commonly in MSK practice. There will be opportunities for Q&As after each presentation and discussions will be encouraged between attendees and faculty.
This course would be of interest to anyone practicing in the musculoskeletal space where requesting and review of imaging is daily practice and delegates can enhance their knowledge around the use of radiology and improve their image interpretation skills.
Organised and facilitated by Educate by Medica’s MSK Faculty Lead, Dr Subhasis Basu.
This course will primarily target consultants / residents / fellows / practitioners / radiographers working in the fields of general & MSK radiology, orthopaedics, sports & exercise medicine, rheumatology, general practice with MSK specialist interests and physiotherapists.
