- Hands-on experience reviewing real clinical cases using GE Healthcare workstations.
- Detailed anatomical reviews paired with pathology-focused case discussions.
- Coverage of key areas, including neck compartments, pharynx , larynx , thyroid, orbits, sinuses & temporal bone
- Networking opportunities with peers and faculty, fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
This two-day course offers radiologists an in-depth look into the anatomy and pathology of the head and neck, with a focus on practical applications in clinical practice. Each session includes a review of anatomical structures, followed by extensive pathology discussions using real-life cases to provide hands-on learning with GE Healthcare workstations. Participants will be guided by expert faculty through technical considerations and diagnostic challenges, ensuring a robust learning experience.
Day 1 will cover the neck compartments, pharynx, larynx, thyroid, and lymph nodes, as well as the oral cavity, teeth, and salivary glands. Each session will begin with a concise anatomy review, followed by a 90-minute case-based pathology discussion, concluding with a wrap-up to consolidate key learning points.
Day 1 Agenda:
• Session 1: Neck compartments – anatomy and pathology
• Session 2: Pharynx, larynx, thyroid & lymph nodes – anatomy and pathology
• Session 3: Oral cavity, teeth & salivary glands – anatomy and pathology
Day 2 will shift focus to skull base and orbits, nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, and conclude with temporal bones. These sessions will again integrate anatomy review with pathology discussions, providing a comprehensive overview of these critical areas.
Day 2 Agenda:
• Session 1: Skull base / orbits – anatomy and pathology
• Session 2: Nasal cavity & paranasal sinuses – anatomy and pathology
• Session 3: Temporal bones – anatomy and pathology
In addition to the expert-led sessions, participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning by reviewing real-life cases using GE workstations. This practical component will allow radiologists to apply advanced MRI techniques in a real-world setting, working with cutting-edge technology to interpret complex diagnostic cases. Guided by our expert faculty, these sessions will offer valuable insights into image acquisition, post-processing, and the nuanced interpretation of challenging cases, ensuring attendees gain practical experience that can be directly applied to their clinical practice.
This course is ideal for consultant radiologists seeking to expand their expertise in head and neck imaging, with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in interpreting challenging cases. Join us in Hanoi for two days of interactive learning and professional development that will significantly enhance your diagnostic capabilities in head and neck imaging.
