This two-day Cardiac MRI for Radiographers Course is designed for Diagnostic Radiographers looking to start out, and currently specialising in Cardiac MRI.

Corsmed is digital MRI simulator that lets you practice MRI scanning on your computer. You’ll scan virtual patients, adjust parameters, and optimize images, all on a realistic virtual scanner. You won’t just read about theory. You’ll apply it.
Key highlights
Day one will cover the basics of anatomy, CMR physics and non-ischaemic cardiomyopathy. In addition, we will cover basic troubleshooting, and you’ll gain hands-on experience accessing our Corsmed Virtual MRI simulator.
Day two takes you one step further and is designed to cover more advanced areas of CMR, including congenital imaging, tissue characterisation, stress CMR and tumours and pericardial imaging.
Led by Clinical Lead Radiographer Alison Fletcher, the course will also be delivered by members of our experienced Cardiac MRI Level 1 Course for Radiologists course faculty and other experts in the field of CMR. The course is ideal for Diagnostic Radiographers looking to (and currently) specialise in Cardiac MRI.
This specialist course for radiographers provides essential lectures plus hands-on access to an MRI Simulator, provided by Corsmed.

In partnership with Corsmed, the course includes access to an exclusive Corsmed MRI Simulator demonstration video ahead of the session.
This short video provides a practical introduction to the Corsmed MRI simulation platform, allowing delegates to familiarise themselves with its key functionalities before the course.
Delegates are encouraged to watch this video before the course, allowing them to maximise their learning and gain hands-on experience with MRI simulation ahead of the session.
