January 2026 in Kuala Lumpur was an inspiring milestone for our delegates. The sold-out Cardiac CT Level 1/2 course brought together a fully engaged cohort of 40 learners in Malaysia.

For a UK-based education provider delivering  BSCI-aligned specialist training internationally, this achievement represents more than just strong attendance. It reflects the growing global demand for high-quality, practical, and clinically relevant cardiac imaging education.

Held in partnership with GE Healthcare, the five-day programme brought together radiologists and cardiologists from Malaysia, Dubai, South Africa, Singapore, the Philippines, and Hong Kong. The mix of backgrounds and experiences created a genuinely international learning environment. Hosting CPD-accredited Cardiac CT training in Kuala Lumpur is an important step toward making advanced cardiac imaging education more accessible for clinicians around the world.

The course is built to be hands-on and interactive. Across the week, delegates followed a structured programme of expert-led lectures as well as intensive workstation training, reviewing 150 Cardiac CT cases in line with BSCI and SCCT guidelines.

Learning was kept personal, with no more than two delegates sharing a workstation. This approach ensured everyone had time for discussion, real-time feedback, and gained the confidence that comes from actively reporting rather than simply observing.

The cases covered a wide range of Cardiac CT practice, including coronary artery disease, bypass grafts, extra cardiac findings, and TAVI. This breadth ensured that attendees encountered the kinds of scenarios they are likely to face in real-world clinical reporting.

For many participants, the course represented the next step toward BSCI Level 2 accreditation and the move to independent Cardiac CT reporting, something we are proud to support as part of their professional development.

Partnering with GE HealthCare

A key factor behind the success of this Malaysia Cardiac CT Level 1/2 course has been collaborating with GE HealthCare, with delegates working on GE cloud-based software throughout the week. This partnership goes beyond the technology itself; it reflects a shared commitment to high-quality education and to improving patient outcomes through better cardiac imaging.

Learning in action

We wanted to capture what makes this course so impactful, so we spent time speaking with GE HealthCare, faculty, and the delegates themselves. The footage offers a behind-the-scenes look at the intensity of the training, the hands-on reporting, the focus, and the discussions.
